New Sculpture: The Dress

This latest sculpture is called "The Dress" and it's about how the important occasions that we dress-up for, like a prom or wedding, often turn out to be much less interesting and enjoyable that the process of buying the dress. We leave the house feeling radiant and hopeful, with the dress mirroring that, but we often come home feeling more like this (above). You can't see in the picture, but there are lots of little tears and strings hanging off the fabric.
